*South Iredell High School’s Agriculture Education classes will enroll students into Future Farmers of America (FFA). FFA and Agricultural Education classes offer excellent opportunities in the world of agriculture and provide leadership skills to keep for a lifetime.

• Agriculture Mechanics I and II Honors 

• Agriculture Mechanics Honors II Small Engines

• Animal Science I

• Animal Science II Honors

-Companion Animal Honors

-Food Animal Honors

• Horticulture I, II Honors

• Horticulture II Landscaping Honors

• Equine Science Honors 

• Veterinary Assisting Honors (Must have taken Animal Science I & Animal Science II) 

• Can earn credential to work in vet office 

FFA: FFA makes a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for potential leadership, personal growth, and career success. While FFA and Agriculture Education classes are separate, they merge together through the curriculum. FFA offers many opportunities for leadership such as Career Development Events, Leadership Development Events (LDE), and educational and engaging trips throughout the year. Some of these trips include National and State Convention, MEGA conference, and Regional Leadership conference.
