NC State Convention
The NC FFA State Convention is an exciting experience where students connect with members from across North Carolina, grow as leaders, and represent South Iredell. Students attend engaging sessions, celebrate achievements, and compete in a variety of FFA competitions. Along the way, they build confidence, teamwork, and lasting friendships while making memories they’ll never forget.
FFA Competitions at State Convention
Students at State Convention have the chance to compete in events like:

Public Speaking & Prepared Speaking – Show confidence and communication skills.

Agricultural Knowledge Contests – Test knowledge in areas like livestock, crops, and ag mechanics.

Career Development Events (CDEs) – Work with teammates in competitions like Parliamentary Procedure, Forestry, or Dairy Judging.

Entrepreneurship & Leadership Challenges – Plan projects, solve problems, and lead teams.

Agriscience Fair – Present hands-on research and innovative projects.
