The South Iredell Agricultural Mechanics Department provides hands-on opportunities that equip students with lifelong skills. In the school’s welding shop, students gain experience with arc/stick welding, MIG welding, oxygen-acetylene cutting, and grinding. Guided by skilled instructors, they learn precision, safety, and problem-solving while working on real-world projects like repairing machinery.
