At South Iredell, our greenhouse gives horticulture students and FFA members the opportunity to experience the industry in a hands on and practical way. In the greenhouse, students propagate plants, create floral arrangements, care for plant inventory, and help maintain the facility. These experiences allow them to explore the different career paths within the horticulture field while building real skills in plant care and greenhouse management. Our goal is for students to gain a well rounded understanding of the industry and discover where their interests and strengths fit within it.
